Dr. Sun Chun-Burbank (AKA Dr. Sun) was born and raised in Seoul, Korea, and earned her bachelor's degree from Ewha Womans (yes, this is a correct spelling) University in Seoul. She later came to the United States to pursue advanced education, earning a master's degree and a doctorate in education, as well as a second master's degree in public administration with a concentration in finance.

After more than 23 years in higher education, Dr. Sun recently transitioned from academia, where she served as a faculty member, department chair, academic co-director, and consultant in teacher education and human development. Throughout her career, she also served on the boards of multiple nonprofit organizations, contributing her expertise and leadership to support their missions.

Today, she is grateful for the opportunity to serve another vulnerable population as a licensed private professional fiduciary. She enjoys learning and growing in this field while helping families navigate and resolve a wide range of challenges. Through her fiduciary practice, she assists individuals and families with complex personal, financial, and trust-related matters with compassion, integrity, and professionalism.

Dr. Sun lives happily with her husband, attorney Marty Burbank, and their beloved dog, Pepper.
